How to access the conference content:
How do I register for the virtual conference?
- You can register on your mobile device or desktop. Simply visit the Whova registration link on our website or search "CRRBC Virtual Conference" on the Whova app.
There are two ways to access conference information:
- The 'Bridging the Digital Divide' website - congrats, you're here!
- Download the Whova app on your phone and search for CRRBC Virtual Conference
The app offers the following features and can be accessed on a mobile smart phone/tablet OR desktop:
- Customized agenda with streaming links to tag what you are interested in attending
- Intuitive communication with other attendees, sponsors, speakers, and organizers
- Community board for shared posts and conversations
- Announcements from the organizers and speakers
On the day of the conference, there are two ways to view presentations:
- From a desk/laptop computer
- For this option, visit the agenda section on your Whova Web App. The Web App will be a link sent to you upon registration
- Find the session you are looking for in the agenda and look for the "Join Zoom Meeting" link
- Attendees will be emailed a code for the days they have registered and will have access to the full conference program with that code
- You do not need to have a Zoom account to participate in the presentations from a desktop
- From a smart phone
Additional Information
I have poor internet connection from home. Will there a telephone based option for audio only?
We are currently working on a telephone, audio-only connection for attendees in areas with poor internet broadband coverage. If you believe your connectivity will not be able to support live streaming, please email us and we will give you more information.
Will presentations be available after the conference?
We will be recording all presentations that speakers have approved for recording. The recordings will be available to attendees following the conference so you could potentially see more presentations by us going virtual!
How can my organization sponsor the conference?

Is there a list of speakers I can look at ahead of time?
All scheduled presentations are posted to the program page in the Whova app.
What is the cancellation policy if I am unable to attend?
Sorry you won't be able to join us. Unfortunately, due to the low cost of conference attendance and high administration costs, we will not be able to issue refunds for cancelled registrations.
