This workshop was focused on Indigenous communities across Canada. The event provided an opportunity for municipalities, Indigenous communities, municipal networks, government, academics, and subject-matter experts to come together and share their knowledge, experiences, lessons learned and advice.

Through active speaker discussions lead by specialized experts from across Canada, we explored the challenges associated with the initial development and financing of a community's broadband network.

There was a facilitated break out session: "Financing Community Broadband" and "Getting Started with Community Broadband". Attendees engaged with the Group Facilitator to review and discuss the particular toolkits developed by Future Cities Canada. Following the break out session, the panel came back together to discuss the feedback and conclusions.
